e-Filing

Effective April 1, 2013, per the Florida Supreme Court (SC 11-399), mandatory electronic filing was in effect for all attorneys filing documents in civil, probate, small claims, and family law matters at the trial court level. Effective October 1, 2013, mandatory electronic filing was in effect for filing documents in criminal court. Please go to the for more information.

Administrative Order for Submitting Electronic Signatures

The Clerk of the Circuit Court allows electronic signatures on documents e-filed by attorneys. Please see below for the acceptable format of s/ or electronic signature.

Pursuant to Supreme Court Order AOSC 09-30, Section 7.1, a pleading or other document, is not required to bear the electronic image of the handwritten signature or an encrypted signature of the filer, but may be signed in the following manner when electronically filed through a registered user's login and password:

ClerkNet 

ClerkNet is an Internet-accessible, secure website that allows access to public case files (excluding confidential files). Users can access and view a wide range of court records online, from any electronic device with Internet access--from your office, 江苏快三 or portable device.

Register to Access ClerkNet

To request access to ClerkNet, register as a new user. Upon completion of the application and approval process you will receive an email confirmation when your access has been activated.

How does ClerkNet work?

ClerkNet uses the latest software technology, allowing the Clerk and Comptroller to provide a secure and highly flexible search application. Document and image files within the Sarasota Clerk and Comptroller's Case Management System are available for viewing, with the exception of confidential and sealed records. Civil case documents prior to 2001, criminal case documents prior to 2002 and any other records that do not fall within the parameters of imaged documents may not be available for online viewing.

What is the Case Watch Notification feature?

ClerkNet offers registered attorneys the option of receiving notifications of subsequent filings in a case of their interest. Once the "subscribe to email alerts" feature is selected when the user views a case, email notifications will be sent any time a new filing is added to the case. Users can also unsubscribe to these alerts should their interest in the case change.
